6. june 2011 at 10:18 | Halfdann |  Thoughts
Greetings fellow readers!
I just decided to rewrite my school work and share it with you. We've had to apply for a job in a letter form, it was school work so I think that it could help you if you have english lessons in your schedule too.
I think it could be useful as a inspiration for you.

Here it is:

Trans-globe Tours
Victoria Square

Dear Martin Ruane,
I am writing in response to your advertisement in Global News channel for tour guides based job.
I studied at Grammar school in Trhove Sviny, IT college at University of North Carolina and several universities in North Pasadena. My master's degrees are B.S., M.S., M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D. Further details about my education status you can find in enclosed CV.
I think I am the ideal person for the job, because I have all the requirements what you described in your advertisement.
I have lots of experience in the field for tour guides, such as people skills, interested in traveling, ambition for personal grow and speaking english, german, czech and japanese fluently.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely [__signature__]

I was kinda making fun of it, you know, 5 masters degree, 4 languages etc.
Newertheless it could help.

Anyway, do you have a blog?

4 E. E. | 7. june 2011 at 21:29 | React

No, I didn´t have a blog, but who know , maybe I found it, because you introduce great idea to me, but I am afraid that my english is very very bad :-D. And I don´t believe that I am your first faithful reader, many people must follow your blog, because it´s different then other blogs.

6 E. E. | 7. june 2011 at 21:57 | React

And can I ask you ,do you use horisont books?

7 E. E. | 7. june 2011 at 21:59 | React

horizonts, I am sorry :-D

Ah :-D, forget about the mistakes.
You mean english books for teaching called Horizont? I don't know them.
At school we are using Headway right now, the intermediate level I think.

BTW: you can create your own blog and it could be in czech you know :) it's not necessarily to have it in english :). In my case the reason why I'am having this blog in english language is that I want to be different than the other blogs on

Good job! I think this might really help some people with their English classes. Not sure if there's any other use for it, though. :)
